Author Inspiration and This Week’s Writing Links

Ciao, amici! Happy Friday! I’m glad you’re here. I know it’s sometimes hard coming back to a full week of work after a holiday, and by day five, you’re exhausted. So thanks for sticking it out and visiting today.

I got a lot done this week. New words written. Outlines completed. Documents edited. I admit, I feel like I could always do more, but I’m trying to be pleased with the things I do accomplish. And who loves their work more than writers? We have the best jobs in the world. Which brings me to today’s quote by Truman Capote.

To me, the greatest pleasure of writing
is not what it’s about,
but the inner music that words make.

Ah, that’s beautiful, isn’t it? And, today and always, that’s my wish for you—an abundance of inner melodies.

And now, this week’s writing links:

Posts by me, about my work, or at sites I contribute to:

Posts by others in the industry:

And when you’re done with these links, don’t forget to check out the sidebar, where you’ll find more links to some of my favorite sites.

Have a great weekend! Arrivederci!

  1. This week was all about down time for me. I didn’t accomplish much writing-wise and have been on a mini vacation (just now returning). Now I’m fired up and ready to tackle a new week and new writing commitments. My muse is re-energized!

  4. Last week was unusual for me. I worked Monday and Tuesday, was off Wednesday and Thursday, then went back to work Friday. so working five days this week has been hard but time passed quickly. Glad you had a productive week!

  5. I’ve had an epic week of … wait for it … total pantser me … planning out a three-book series, lol! I still can’t believe I’ve done it. Well, books 1 and 2 are outlined. Today, I start on week three. Then I’m gagging for that Friday evening feelling, lol. Thanks for the links, Staci, and I love that quote. After all that planning, I’m itching to get writing! Have a lovely weekend. Reblogged on: https://harmonykent.co.uk/author-inspiration-and-this-weeks-writing-links-12/

    1. I love that you’ve been outlining. I have, too, and I’m so ready to get back to writing. I have an edit to complete first, though. Enjoy that Friday-evening feeling! (It’s got to be getting close for you by now.)
