Ciao, amici! It’s that time of year when we’re looking at Halloween through our rearview mirror and heading toward Thanksgiving (in the US). Because of that, I tend to be hyper-focused on gratitude now (and every November).
To that end, I found this quote by JFK to be more than appropriate.
As we express our gratitude, we must never forget
that the highest appreciation is not to utter words,
but to live by them.
I make my living with words, so I’m always happy when I find someone who believes in the power of them. Particularly when both the words and the actions mean so much.

I will have to spend time exploring them–I’m especially keen on learning what I need to know to publish my own work.

Some great links here, I love Laurie Schnebly Campbell!
Speaking of words and gratitude, I received a letter in the mail from my grandson the other day (the first since they moved) and maybe because it wasn’t a text (we do that a lot), it made my heart swell with love. So yes, words mean everything ❤
Have a wonderful week, my friend.

That’s wonderful, Jacquie. Letter/card writing is almost a lost art. My niece sent me a card last week (rather than the usual texting and phone conversations) and it really moved me. Words are powerful, as is thoughtfulness.
Enjoy your week!

That’s a potent quote and one I have to remember. It doesn’t surprise me that it’s attributed to JFK.
Hope your week is fabulous!

I love the quote! This is a time in which we should focus on the things we have to be grateful for.

Thanks, Joan. I should always try to focus on things I’m thankful for, but sometimes I let things get in the way. In November, I seem to be more attentive.
