If you thought I meant my soul, you haven’t been paying attention. I’m not tortured. In fact, I’m super-excited. Over the moon!
🥂 🍾 🎉 🎈 Tortured Soul released today! 🎈 🎉 🍾 🥂
As I mentioned yesterday, I’ve got wonderful friends who are helping me spread the word. Today, I’m at two sites.
First, I hope you visit D. L. Finn. She is preparing to launch her own romance/psychological thriller, but she took the time to help me promote my work. You can read an excerpt from my novel at her site. This one is action-packed and waiting for your thoughts here.
Then I’d love it if you’d visit me at Mae Clair’s site. You’ve seen our names together often, I’m sure. We both write for Story Empire, we’ve visited each other’s sites many times, and we’ve been critique partners for a while now. She was one of the first people to see Tortured Soul. Heck, she helped make it what it is. (And for that, I thank you, Mae.) Mostly, though, she’s a great friend. And she’s hosting me today, where I’ll be talking about aliens. How does this sci-fi topic fit into a paranormal/romance/thriller novel? Go here to see.
These ladies are doing me a big favor. When you visit, if you aren’t already, please consider following them. They are great authors and great bloggers, and you’ll really enjoy enjoy their sites.
I hope to see you at their sites today where I begin celebrating the release of Tortured Soul!

HAPPY RELEASE DAY!!! I’m doing a Snoopy dance for you!
Thanks for the lovely words directed my way, but today is all about you, girlfriend.
I positively love the graphic you added to the top of this post. Your art work is always exceptional, but that one–wow!–gold stars and glitter! Of course, given how stupendous Tortured Soul is, it’s a perfect fit 🙂

I don’t like being the center of attention, so I’m happy to share. Especially when it’s true!
Thanks for all the support, Mae. And for the kind words about the graphic. I think of all my promo materials for this series, it’s my favorite, too.

Both posts were entertaining and informative, Staci, and I very much enjoyed them. I responded to each, but D. L. Finn’s website ate my comment, twice. Thankfully, I could leave one on Mae Clair’s. Congratulations, and looking forward to hosting you tomorrow on The Write Stuff. 🙂 ❤

I always have that problem on her site, too. I’ve found if I close the window and reopen it, the comment is usually there. Refreshing doesn’t work; it still doesn’t show up. I have no idea why.
I appreciate you going to both sites, and I know my hosts do, too. Thanks for the support!

Sorry about that Marcia, I had to approve your comment . It is there now. It is set up first comment approval and after that will post. I have had the same problems replying, though, and not seeing it right away too. No idea why. Thanks Marcia:)

I often wonder if my comments on your posts actually make it. Sometimes if I open and close the window they’re there. Other times they aren’t. I just assumed it was something weird with me. I lost the ability to like some people’s comments, too. Technology; gotta love it.

I have the same problems, too, even when I answer. Sometimes, I have to go directly to word press to like some posts on other sites. No, not just you and I’ve found it at many sites. I do find the issues are more when I’m on my phone over the computer, but not all the time. Yes, technology gives us a lot and makes more work sometimes:)

I’m sorry for your struggles even as I’m glad I’m not alone. One of these days, everything will work like it’s supposed to. (I have to believe that, or I’ll throw my laptop into the pool.)
