    • Thanks, Julie. I am struggling with goodbye. But the series was “done” and there was no point in extending it (other than to amuse myself, which readers would have hated).

      Nightforce will be released under a pen name (long story that I’ll blog about later), but it comes out soon. Book one used to be called Password; it’s now called Hideaway and will be released under the name Keira Beck.

    • Wow. Thank you, Annika. That means the world to me. My editor told me the end made him a little misty-eyed, and we all know how men hold their emotions in check. If it affected him so deeply, I feel like I’ve done my job. I hope you come to agree with him.

  16. Congratulations, Staci! I expect this world has more fabulous stories lurking around, but I get what you mean. We have to know when it’s time to leave our treasured worlds. I have a ton of catching up to do with your series. It sounds terrific! Wishing you huge success with this one. Hugs.

    • Thanks, Teagan. I appreciate that.

      I actually have a lot of short stories from that series. My publisher asked for them for marketing tools, but they only ever published one of them, which (ironically) was a prequel without any of the contemporary characters. Who knows… maybe someday they’ll all get bundled into a big compendium/boxed set kind of thing.

      In the meantime, I do get to visit the surviving characters in a new series (once in a while), so they’re not completely out of my life yet.
