So happy to share a cover reveal for The Gemini Connection by Teri Polen. Teri’s first book, Sarah, was a fabulous horror story, and I wish her nothing but success with her second novel. Let’s give her a lot of support and a warm welcome.

E-book Release Date: June 7, 2018
Young Adult > Sci-Fi/Fantasy > Thriller
Teen twin brothers Evan and Simon Resnik are fiercely loyal to each other and share an unusual bond—they experience each other’s emotions as their own and can sense where the other is.
On their dying planet of Tage, scientists work tirelessly on its survival. Like the twins’ parents, Simon is a science prodigy, recruited at a young age to work with the brilliant creator of Scientific Innovations. To the bitter disappointment of their parents, Evan shows no aptitude or interest in science. As a Mindbender, he travels into the minds of scientists to locate buried memories, connect ideas and concepts, and battle recurring nightmares.
When Simon mysteriously disappears, Evan is plunged into a world of loss and unbearable guilt. For the first time, he can’t ‘feel’ Simon-it’s like he no longer exists. Evan blames himself. No one knows that he ignored his brother’s pleas for help on the night he went missing.
A year later, Simon is still gone. Evan lost his twin, but Tage might have lost its last hope of survival when it’s discovered that Simon’s unfinished project could be its salvation. Evan is determined to find him—somewhere—and bring Simon home. Their unusual connection might be more extraordinary than they know, and the key to locating Simon.

I like the gritty feel of the cover. I will be adding to my list once the eBook becomes available!

Thanks, D.L! With one of my characters able to travel into dreams and nightmares, I thought the murky cover was very appropriate.

I like gritty covers, too, Denise. This one, especially with the red, is quite striking.

I have a thing for the bonds of brothers, both in my own work, and in my very favorite series. Even fantasy series. It’s such a special kind of unconditional love, even between brothers without the type of connection of your twins. I’m really looking forward to the story. 🙂 Best of luck with it.

I loved both stories. (Am I allowed to mention that I’ve read The Gemini Connection? Well, too late. I did.) Happy to help promote them both. And wishing you much success with this latest release.

Of course you can mention – and I can mention how much you improved it with your editing.

Thanks, Teri. I’m thrilled you found my input helpful. But when you start with a good product to begin with, an editor’s job is pretty easy.
