City Sidewalks, An Addendum

This time of year, I think we’re all busy. In addition to any holiday preparations and celebrations we might be dealing with, we probably have a lot of end-of-year work to complete. I know I do. On all counts.

In short, I’ve been distracted.

So distracted, in fact, that I scheduled a post for today and completely forgot about it. I initially wrote it so I could promote a guest post. Then I had another guest post. And somewhere along the way, I forgot it was a “guest post” post and just used it as a regular post.

Like I said, distracted.

So, if you would take a little pity on my muddled brain, I’d like to invite you to learn a little more about When We Finally Kiss Goodnight, the novella I talked about earlier today, by visiting some of my friends.

• Craig Boyack’s robot girl assistant, Lisa Burton, prints a transcript of a radio interview she did with Chloe Upshaw, protagonist of the novella. Talk about a muddled brain! (Maybe I put more of me into her character than I thought.) To see what’s going on with her, check out this post.
• Mae Clair has a fascination with paranormal events. It was only fitting that when I visited her, I discussed the supernatural element in the novella. The song says “scary ghost stories” and, while I can’t say this ghost is frightening (quite the opposite, in fact), the lore is fascinating. To learn more about it, check out this post.

I really have to apologize to my friends for goofing this up, and to you readers, as well. I hope you forgive this lapse in sanity and visit Craig and Mae. They put a lot of work into hosting their guests—I know I always feel welcome when I visit them. And to pay them back for their time and generosity, I’d like to send some visitors their way.
