The new monk in Cathedral Lake has been busy inviting the townsfolk to a special celebration for All Souls’ Day. Some of the Puritanical residents are suspicious of his motives, but one by one they are being swayed.
Gideon Bradly has tried to keep an open mind, but when he and his neighbor see what’s really going on, their worst fears are realized. Can Gideon put a stop to the nefarious machinations of Brother Magus, or will he be too late to save Cathedral Lake?

I love a good spooky, shivery, creepy, goosebump read, especially in the weeks and days leading up to Halloween. I really enjoyed your short story “The All Souls Ritual.” The setting and time period were perfect for a chilling adventure. Staci, I enjoyed your story and learning the secret behind the old cathedral. Excited to be a part of this collection. I’ve always enjoyed a good ghost story and Halloween is the perfect time for this collection.

Thank you, Joan. I didn’t have room for any of the history in book one of the series. I mentioned it in passing in book two. It was fun to actually explore the history in depth.
